Kevin Baum is an award winning, internationally exhibited and published photographer from Chicago, Il.
Primarily shooting digital color, his style and portfolio is unique, colorfully dreamy, and diverse. Kevin is mostly drawn to “street,” although his book of work runs deep with landscapes, cityscapes, and architecture images.
Inspired by the likes of Saul Leiter, Harry Gruyaert, and Vivian Maier, Kevin’s eye for movement, light, and composition, and sincere empathy for the city and its people can be seen in each of his images.
Since making the city my home in 2004, I’ve walked and run its streets on a daily basis. I’ve always been drawn to people and their stories.
It was in August, 2018 that I truly started to see and appreciate all of it … through the lens of a camera.
Today, Kevin lives in Chicago’s South Loop with his wife Tricia. With questions, comments and/or opportunities, connect with Kevin here.
